Happy Birthday Eliza!!!

Ok, so today is not her birthday, but the absent minded Mom I am forgot to blog on her actual birthday.

My sweet baby girl turned 2 on July 2nd. For her birthday we went camping for the first time as a family, with all 8 kids! Then we spent the day swimming at the Glen Helen water park. (That story is for another blog post)

It amazes me how fast 2 years can fly by. We thought we were through having kids with Thomas, but I just knew there was a little girl waiting for us. It took a lot of convincing, but Mike finally relented and said ok, but this is it!

Eliza came flying in to the world with the fastest labor possible, to me anyway. She arrived at 12:07 am July 2nd, 2007. She has turned into a very independent little lady. With 6 older brothers and sisters to compete with it did not take her long to find her voice and use it in our house of chaos. She worships Thomas and does everything he does. She is so sweet and smart and devilish all at the same time. Just like all the other children, our family would not be the same without her. I can't wait to watch her grow. She loves her family so much and is the epitome of being "Daddy's Little Girl". We are so blessed to have her and feel privileged to be trusted to raise her here on Earth.

Happy Birthday!!!(belated) It is amazing how fast time goes by! I remember coming to visit you when Thomas was born, seems like just the other day! It was good to hear you all lived through a camping trip! Hope your 4th was a good one.

What a awesome picture. I could reach in and just squeeze her. She is blessed to have you as a mother. Courage, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel......just hope it isn't a train. Love you......laugh, it's good for the complexion.
