Mike.....gone again

So my other half was here over the weekend. We took some much needed alone time and spent Sunday night in Long Beach sans kids. It was nice to have the time together, although the kids were not so happy about it. Eliza knew who Mike was right away this time which made his day. Last visit she was very unsure of him. We did family night on Monday then he was off again Tuesday morning. These visits are but a blink in time and I wish they could last much longer! I had to restart my "Mike Counter" and it was quite depressing to see the numbers back in the high double digits. With Mike being away from home so much we have definitely learned to spend our time wisely and remember what this life is about and appreciate our family more. We just need to remember all that when he works shore side and is home every day!
