Backyard Makeover

We are getting a backyard makeover! Our backyard has been a sore site for quite a while. We finally decided NOT to get the pool and to go ahead with a complete overhaul of the yard. We have been under construction for a week now and it is looking good. By the end of next week we will have all the concrete poured and then it will be time for grass and plants. I am so excited to see what the end result is going to look like! The fire pit is what we are most anticipating, especially Mike. What is is with guys and fire? We are going with wood burning not gas so he can teach the kids how to build a fire. He is looking forward to a huge bonfire when it is complete! Here are some before pictures, it is pretty sad.
